Winter Hiking
Untouched slopes, idyllic valleys, hills covered deep in snow and drenched by
sunlight
– our winter guests can experience all of this, even without carving
skis or a snowboard.
In St. Oswald / Bad Kleinkirchheim, amid
Carinthia’s Nockberge, you can also head out
on your own two feet and
experience the quieter side of winter.
60 kilometres of winter hiking
paths offer a wonderful alternative to the fun-filled ski slopes.
Simply
going your own way for once, relishing the quiet and tranquility,
rediscovering
your own inner balance, yet without having to expose yourself
to any undue alpine risks:
Our network of winter hiking paths offers you
plenty of personal space and the perfect setting.
Cleared paths take you
out through idyllic winter landscapes, revealing picturesque vistas
and
often leading to cafés and country inns, where the reward for all that physical
activity
awaits you.
The
mountains around St. Oswald and in the biosphere
park Nockberge, with their gentle
topography, offer the ideal
setting. The “Nocken”, the region’s gently undulating mountains,
entice
walkers with some truly easy routes.
Also this year there is prepared a nice hiking map for you - small
and beautiful
with more than 10 different hiking paths.
In
addition you will find elaborated winter hiking traces with a well prepared
description
directly at the reception desk!
HINT - We offer you
